Advanced First Aid
This course covers the provision of advance first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance, and provision of support to other providers. The content is consistent with relevant legislative requirements in relation to first aid.
Students must be 14 years or over.
Advanced Resuscitation
This course is designed to develop skills and knowledge to provide an advanced level of resuscitation and the provision of oxygen therapy to support the casualty until the arrival of medical assistance. It can be applied in either the workplace or to the community at large.
Students must be 16 years or older and have a current Senior First Aid qualification.
Automated External Defibrillation
A short course designed to develop skills and knowledge to provide automated external defibrillation until the arrival of medical assistance. The skills can be applied either in the work force or the community.
Students must be 16 years or older and have current competence in CPR.
Basic Life Support
This unit is aimed at people in the workplace or general community who wish to gain resuscitation and basic care first aid skills for their workplace or personal benefit.
Students must be 14 years or older.
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
This training is suitable for individuals, companies and organizations, and will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to make them confident and competent to perform CPR.
Students must be 14 years or older.
Injury Prevention in Children
This training is suitable for individuals, companies and organizations involved in the Childcare industry, and will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to make them confident and competent to perform First Aid care for children.
Students must be 16 years or older.
KiddyCare
The aim of the course is to familiarise parents and non professional carers of babies and children with basic strategies to reduce the risk of injury occurring in and around a residential or non professional day care setting and assist them in gaining first aid and resuscitation skills.
Students must be 14 years or older.
Occupational First Aid
This training is suitable for individuals, companies and organistations, and will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to make them confident and competent to perform the specific requirements of Occupational First Aid. It is designed for people who are employed or seeking employment, as an Occupational First Aider.
Students must be 16 years or older and hold a current Senior First Aid certificate.
Senior First Aid
This unit is aimed at people in the workplace or general community who wish to gain resuscitation skills and standard first aid skills for their workplace or personal benefit.
There are 2 delivery methods:
- Method 1: Mixed Mode- participants complete a workbook prior to attending a one day practical & assessment session. Depending on the student, the workbook takes between 6-8 hours. If the student has a valid first aid certificate on the day of the practical session, there is no requirement to complete the workbook.
- Method 2: Traditional 2 day course. Participants attend 2 days training where the practical & theory components are delivered with the assessment taking place at the end of day 2.
On successful completion of either course, participants are awarded a Senior First Aid certificate, which is both Work cover accredited and nationally recognised. The certificate is valid for 3 years.
Students must be 14 years or older.
NSW OHS Construction Induction (Green card)
The course is primarily for those participants who require OHS induction training certification prior to working on a construction site, and provides them with the basic general knowledge of OHS requirements for the construction industry in NSW.
Students must be 14 years and 9 months or older and be able to produce proof of identity (POI).

Confined Spaces
This training is suitable for clients who are required to authorize or conduct confined space operations. It will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to work safely and effect rescue as required in a confined space in accordance with legislative requirements.
Participants will gain a Statement of Attainment as well as Breathing apparatus Certification.
Pole Top Rescue
Manual Handling
This training is suitable for individuals, companies and organisations, and will provide the basic knowledge and skills necessary for participants to limit back injury and to use the correct techniques in their individual jobs.
Safe Work at Heights
OH&S Consultation
This training is for those participants who have not previously been exposed to the legal and industrial requirements of OH&S. It is primarily for participants who have been elected as NSW Workplace Health and Safety Officers.
The course includes a balanced content of theory and class participation through the examination of case studies, open discussion and practical application. This will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to perform the role and responsibilities of a workplace health and safety representative.
OH&S for Managers
For this training it is preferable for participants to be employed or experienced at management level.
It addresses the actions necessary to systematically manage OHS. It includes contributing to the implementation of developed strategies, systems and plans, as well as recognising the need for expert advice.
It addresses the actions necessary to ensure OHS legal compliance.
OH&S Committee Training
This training enables participants to understand the roles and responsibilities of an OHS member.
The training includes:
- Roles and responsibilities
- Functions and roles of Health and safety committees
- OHS duties
OH&S Awareness Course
This course covers general OHS requirements according to legislation and codes of practice, including duties and responsibilities for all parties under the general duty of care.
Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Control methods
This training will provide participants with an understanding of the requirements in relation to identifying hazards, carrying out risk assessments, and implementing preventative strategies in line with the hierarchy of control.
